As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning, analysis and reporting, and to lead the Finance Team in the delivery of these activities in line with the company's strategic objectives and financial best practice.
You will also ensure that all finance policies and procedures are carried out in line with appropriate legislation.
Working closely with colleagues across the company, you will provide financial insight and support in the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies, as well as delivering financial information to other business functions and the Management Team. Building effective relationships across the different business functions to support business objectives will be key.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

-Management of the Finance Team including coaching, mentoring and developing individuals

-Preparation of management accounts and managing key performance indicators

-Preparation of year end accounts for submission to external accountant/auditors

-Management and control of cash flow

-Management of company budgets and forecasts

-Analysis and presentation of financial data to Senior Management Team

-Management of monthly payroll, pensions and taxes
-
-Preparation and filing of quarterly UK VAT return for the group
-
-Management and delivery of Key client financial reports
-
-Management of Companies House accounts and Statutory reporting
-
-Management of Company bank accounts
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have;

-Demonstrable experience of successful delivery in a Finance Manager role

-Advanced communication and influencing skills

-Demonstrable experience of leading others and managing people
-
-An ability to prioritise complex tasks and self-motivate whilst meeting deadlines and targets
-
-Well-developed problem-solving skills and a strong commercial focus
-
-A high degree of competence in the use of business technology including spreadsheets and financial software
-
-Ideally, significant experience of Sage and MS Excel software
